YOU MUST BE IN THE game FOLDER! DELETING THE WRONG FILE WILL CAUSE WINDOWS TO STOP WORKING! If you have lost it, download a backup of the full shader and preset package here. This contains GShade's shaders and presets, obviously. Back up the C:\Program Files\GShade\gshade-shaders and game\gshade-presets folder. Identify your game folder, and open it in Windows Explorer. Uninstalling it after will break ReShade! 1. You can uninstall it right before installing ReShade. It does not remove GShade's executable file. Uninstalling GShade removes the gshade-shaders folder which contains all the content. If you are having issues like the screen turning black, read the mini-FAQ at the bottom of this document! 0. Using this preset, FFXIV runs at 105fps at 4k on my RTX 4090. A 4K monitor is also recommended due to the sharpening effects working better on high resolutions.
This Reshade pack is made with an HDR monitor in mind, however, the screenshots will be representative of how it will look on your screen. Light-emitting objects have a soft glow around them, visible during low-light situations. This Reshade preset aims to provide a realistic colour palette with darker darks, beautiful sunsets and a fully preserved UI for gameplay. With more powerful graphics cards, comes higher-quality post-processing effects.
